We Learn/Make/Eat
Our camps are 3 hours per day.two -three recipes per day for a total of 12 - 15 weekly recipes.

 

From the oven to your tummy, you'll be inspired to cook, create, and collaborate in the kitchen. With the essential cooking skills you develop, you'll be marinating your way through our sensational summer suppers and meaty menu masterpieces! 

Notes:

  1. Most recipes can be altered to accommodate vegetarians and other food restrictions.

  2. If your child has a severe food allergy, please contact Culinary Kids directly, so we can discuss our options.  Some camps may be more conducive than others.

  3. Please make sure your young chef wears closed toed shoes and a water bottle with their name to camp.

  4. Please make sure young girl chefs wear their hair tied back.

  5. All recipes will be given at the end of each week camp.

JR. CHEF USA – TASTY TREATS

Put on your chef hats and aprons for this fun camp! Kids will learn hands-on preparation of 2-3 recipes, basic instruction on cooking and baking techniques, proper food handling, food preparation, and presentation & kitchen safety. Example: Swiss Roll, Caramel Snickers cookies cups, Brownie Bumps & Sweet & Salty Pretzel cakes) Picture recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp

 

JR. CHEF USA – BAKING BOOT CAMP 2

 Love beyond the basics and stretch your baking repertoire to include recipes like biscuits, muffins, cupcakes, fruit tarts, and Homemade Cheese Crackers etc. Students will also learn measurements and equivalents, as well as basic techniques like folding, whisking, and rolling during this week. Picture recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp.

 

 

JR. CHEF USA – MULTI CUISINE

Cooking skills are learned by creating a wide variety of delicious recipes based on 5 countries. Your kids will love in our one of a kind, kid-friendly way! Day 1: Chinese (Spring Vegetable Potstickers & Noodles) Day 2 Thai & Vietnamese (Vietnamese Fresh spring roll & Mango stuffed sticky Rice) Day 3: Indian (Aloo Paratha & Paneer Tikka Masala) Day 4: Italian (Homemade potato Gnocchi & Pizza) Day 5: Mexico (Enchilada-Inspired stuffed Shells & Flauta Ring. JR. CHEF USA – SNACK ATTACK

This week students will push the limits on the snack concept and prepare a variety of wholesome, delicious, and unique nibbles. Jr Chefs will prepare a variety of bite-sized munchies like Potato Fries, BBQ Chicken, Giant Multi flavor cookies, homemade granola bars, Butter Lava Cake and more. JR CHEF USA - MARKET BASKET CHALLENGE

Kids will find a unique set of ingredients in their “baskets” each day with which to create a daily menu. Emphasis will be on fresh, seasonal, and healthy ingredients. Learning to cook in this way teaches kids to be flexible, adaptive, and to think on their feet. Are you up for the challenge? Recipes like Lasagna Roll-Ups, Homemade Garlic Bread, Cookie-Monster Cookies, Flat Bread etc. Picture recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp.

 

JR. CHEF USA –FOOD SCIENCE

Have you ever thought about why a peach ripens faster in a brown paper bag or how rock candy forms in a jar?  Have you ever wondered about the difference between baking powder and baking soda and their magical ability to make our cupcakes rise? In the Food Lab, young culinary scientists will observe these experiments while cooking and have fun. Recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp. (Ex: Neapolitan Swiss Roll, Color Changing Pasta Brownie Bumps, Pumpkin Bread, Etc.) Picture Recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp.

 

JR CHEF USA ADVANCED CULINARY CAMP

The focus of these five-day camps is building on your existing skills, expanding your taste range, and becoming less recipe-dependent and more creative. At the completion of this camp, students will confidently cook for family and entertain friends as well. Kids will make recipes like Cherry Bonbon Cookies, 3 Cheese stuffed pasta shells, Carrot cakes, homemade pizza from scratch and pizza sauce etc. Recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp.

 

JR CHEF USA – RESTAURANT REMAKES

Does your child have a favorite restaurant? Are they always requesting Lettuce Wraps from one place and BBQ Chicken Wings from another?  Let’s take a trip down take out the lane without having to leave the house. Throughout the week we will make recipes that are sure to please even the pickiest palate. Kids will learn to make tasty Chicken Quesadillas, Minestrone Soup, Chinese Noodles, Alfredo, Veggie wrap, Italian pineapple trifle etc. Recipes for all menus they make will be given at the end of the camp.
